Breeding - Cave Spawner, provide caves in the form of rockwork, driftwood, oak leaves, clay pots, etc.

Personal Remarks - A. sp. "Rio Nanay" is easy to keep provided frozen &/or live foods are given. Can be aggressive to conspecifics especially at breeding time. Eggs may number as many as 50 with 30-40 being normal.
