Water Parameters - pH 6.5-7.5

Temperature - 76-84 F

Size - Males: 10" Females: 8"

Breeding - Ovophilous mouthbrooder (Both parents mouthbrood fry after fry hatch)

Personal Remarks - Easy to keep, be sure to provide a tank size of at least 75 gallons & regular water changes.

Additional Remarks - Often imported as Geophagus "surinamensis" & is often imported along side Geophagus dicrozoster.
