Water Parameters - pH 6.5-7.5

Temperature - 76-84 F

Size - Males: 10" Females: 8"

Breeding - Has proven to be a larvophilous mouthbrooder (Both parents mouthbrood fry after fry hatch)

Personal Remarks - Easy to keep, provide a tank size of at least 75 gallons.

Additional Remarks - Also known as Geophagus sp. "Colombia". Is often imported as Geophagus surinamensis along side G. abalios and G. cf. bracybranchus.
