Breeding - Ovophilous mouthbrooder (Both parents mouthbrood eggs & fry)

Personal Remarks - Easy to keep, provide regular water changes and a tank size of 75 gallons or larger.

Additional Remarks - Well known for its dark lateral band which is almost always present.
