Breeding - Open brooder, spawns on flat surfaces such as driftwood, rocks, plants & even the tank glass

Personal Remarks - Easy to keep, great beginner dwarf cichlid. Very beautiful when in breeding dress, purple/crimson in color.

Additional Remarks - Laetacara curviceps is a related species which is quite common in the hobby.
