Breeding - Open brooder, spawns on flat surfaces such as driftwood, rocks, plants & even the tank glass

Personal Remarks - Easy to keep as long as regular water changes are preformed. Can be aggressive towards conspecifics. A very curious fish that will try to eat anything & everything including sponge filters!

Additional Remarks - Uaru fernandezyepezi is related species, known as the Panda Uaru but is more difficult to keep requiring softer water.
